WELCOME

A cohesive look and feel, a restructuring of online information, and a greater relevance of Acadia University’s web presence are just a few of this issues that have been facing our community for some time now. In order to tackle these, and other issues, a team of individuals has come together to help steer the Acadia web presence in a new direction. This will help promote our university, and make our sites worth returning to time and time again for both people on campus and off.

To achieve these goals a new theme, or template, has been painstakingly put together over several months and through many different versions. This new look and feel has also been married to a Content Management System (CMS) named Contao in order to allow ease of creation and maintenance of web pages. Now all Acadia pages have the opportunity of showing a unified appearance, while keeping the individuality of the different offices, groups, and disciplines here on campus.

This page, the CMS headquarters, will serve as your “home base” for all things related to the official Acadia Template and the CMS that is driving the university web presence. From information on building your site, walkthrough videos, news on updates and new features available in the CMS that you can use, it will all be here for your reference.
